About Sclesky Photography

Hello, My name is Wayne Sclesky. I was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. I started in photography after graduating college with a B.S. in Biology and Psychology. Initially it was a hobby but soon turned into a passion of mine. Orginally I enjoyed doing landscapes and storms. I then got into shooting fashion and beauty models. I moved to Miami, FL in January of '05. While Miami presented me with a lot of great opportunities, in the end it wasn't the place for me.

In February of 06' I "re-met" my now wife on myspace, she was livng back in Kansas City. We attended the same high school, while we were acquaintances we weren't really friends. We totally hit it off and talked on the phone for 3-4 hours a night. It was at this point in March 06' I decided to leave Miami and head back to Kansas City.

I love what I do! Whether with an international model or the kid next door, I love creating an image that will last well beyond a lifetime. I like to think of myself more as an artist than just a photographer. The final product is very important to me. If you want the very best then you need look no further.
